Garden Hills Cool Sharks

Coach Rebekah is an Assistant Age Group Coach at Swim Atlanta Georgia Tech, and this is her fifth season coaching with the Cool Sharks. Before coming to Garden Hills, Rebekah was the head coach for the Highland Pointe Piranhas summer swim team in Cobb County, after working as an assistant coach with the Piranhas for 5 years. She swam competitively with Stingrays Swimming in Marietta for 8 years and then moved on to become a LAPS and Age Group coach for the Stingrays for 2 years. 

Coach Rebekah is now scheduling lessons. She teaches all ages. Her rate is $65/lesson (30 mins).

Rachel is a rising senior at UGA studying child psychology, and this is her third season as a coach and lessons instructor at Garden Hills. She’s been swimming competitively on and off since 6 years old, and swam for Stingrays Swimming and Lassiter High School swim teams. She also coached on the Highland Pointe Piranhas for 2 years and has also taught lessons at Aqua-tots.

Coach Rachel is now scheduling lessons. She teaches ages 2-18. Her rate is $55/lesson (30 mins).

Sarah S grew up swimming with the Garden Hills Cool Sharks, and this is her 5th season as a Shark Pups coach and lessons instructor. Sarah attends Georgia Tech where she is studying electrical engineering. Sarah swims on the GT Club Team and works as a swim instructor teaching adult swim classes at the GT campus rec center.

Zoe grew up swimming for the Cool Sharks, and also swam on the Pace Varsity Team and for Buckhead Aquatics. This is her 4th season as a Shark Pups coach and lesson instructor. Zoe is a rising sophomore at the University of Vermont.

Coach Zoe is now scheduling lessons starting May 16th. Her rate is $45/lesson (30 mins).

Elizabeth is graduating from North Atlanta High School where she was a state team member for the varsity swim team. This is her 13th season as a Cool Shark swimmer and 3rd year as Cool Sharks coach. She also has 2 years of Shark Pups coaching experience. She has a brother and sister that swim in the 13-14 age group, and another brother who is a lifeguard. Elizabeth will be attending Dartmouth College in the fall!

Emily is graduating from North Atlanta High School this year, where she swam for the varsity team. She has been a Cool Sharks swimmer for 14 seasons and this is her 4th season as a Cool Sharks coach. She will be attending Georgia Tech this fall!

Coach Emily is now scheduling lessons starting June 1st. Her rate is $35/lesson (30 mins).

Margaret is a rising senior at Westminster and this is her third season coaching for Garden Hills, both for the Cool Sharks and the Shark Pups. Margaret grew up swimming for Garden Hills, as well as competitively on multiple club teams. She is currently swimming for Swim Atlanta and is a member of the Westminster varsity swim team where she has qualified for state the past three years. She has two younger siblings and loves working with kids!

Adrian is a rising senior at Atlanta International School, and this is his third season coaching for Garden Hills as a Junior Coach. Adrian has been swimming for the Cool Sharks for 10 seasons. He currently swims for Swim Atlanta and is on the Atlanta International School varsity swim team. He has two siblings, 3 and 9 years old. He has experience of working with a variety of age groups.

Ava is a rising senior at North Atlanta High School and this is her 3rd year coaching for the swim team and shark pups! She has been swimming for the Cool Sharks since she was five years old and has also swam for many club swim teams including Dynamo swim club, Swim Atlanta and Chastain Park Aquatic Club. She currently swims for the varsity team of the North Atlanta warriors where she has been qualified for the state team since her freshman year!

Jacquie is a rising senior at Atlanta International School where she is a member of the Varsity Swim Team and a 3x state team qualifier. She also swims competitively with Swim Atlanta at Georgia Tech. This is her second year coaching our Cool Sharks and Shark Pups.

Coach Jacquie is now scheduling lessons. She is bilingual and can also teach in Spanish! Her rate is $25/lesson (30 mins)

Sarah P was a varsity swimmer and 4x state team member with the Midtown High School varsity team, where she was a team captain and holds several team records. This is her fifth year coaching and teaching lessons with the Cool Sharks, after previously swimming and coaching at Ansley Golf Club. She is also an Assistant Coach with our Cool Sharks Adult Team. Sarah is a rising senior at UNC Chapel Hill.

Fiona grew up swimming with the Garden Hills Cool Sharks, starting as a 6-year-old, and this is her fifth season as a Cool Sharks coach and lessons instructor. She was also the Shark Pups Assistant Coach in 2021 and 2022. She was a founding member of the Inman (now Howard) Middle School Swim Team and a varsity swimmer for the Midtown High School Swim Team. Fiona attends Princeton University, where she continues to teach lessons to children and adults at the Princeton campus rec center.
