Dear Cool Sharks parents,

Thank you so much for your amazing gifts last night! The coaches, volunteer coordinators, and I were truly blown away by your generosity - it is always unexpected for the coaches and they were so happy! Thank you Soung Hi for that wonderful idea and for organizing it all, and thank you to all of our awesome parents for all your support throughout the season!

We love our Cool Sharks parents!!!

I want to recognize and thank our parent leaders, without whom this team would not function. These hard-working parents deserve extra thanks for making this season not only possible but amazing.

Cool Shark parent Andrew Munro is our Pool Board Liaison and does an incredible amount of work behind the scenes to support this team. He also coordinates a lot of our home meet logistics. Whenever the coaches or I need anything, he is the first person we turn to. Also shout out to board member and former Cool Shark parent Kirsten Neufeld who continues to support our team in so many ways (seen and unseen). She won't see this so thank her when you see her :).

Beth Lytle and Nina McCormack are our Volunteer Coordinators. Managing our army of parent volunteers is a Herculean task involving a lot of behind-the-scenes work in addition to their hard work at every single meet - coming early and staying late. They make sure all our volunteer needs are covered so our meets can run smoothly. 

Ben Schoenbachler, our Computer Operator, who sits at the scoring table and manages the technical aspects of running our meets; and Razell Rilloraza, the backup member of our technical team. Both of these parents did a lot of training and learning this year to take over these roles and we appreciate the smooth transition! 

Soung Hi Morris, our Social Coordinator, who does all the planning and organizing for our team parties. Soung Hi always has great ideas for our team and is good person to bounce things off of when we need feedback from a parent perspective. She also pitches in whenever we need her :).

Amy Lambert has been the Treasurer (not only for the swim team but also for the entire pool) for many years. She oversees and supports budgeting, payroll, and all other financial aspects of running our team.

Candice Harris is our Swim Across America Coordinator. You've probably already met her selling Good Luck Ducks at the meets. She is busy planning our SAA Swim-a-Thon in August and recruiting swimmers for the SAA Open Water Swim in September. We are grateful for her efforts to increase our team involvement with this wonderful charity.

Dawn Sheppard, our Office Manager, has been helping us organize the chaos that is the swim team office. She takes our mountains of paper for recycling and also helps manage our team Lost-and-Found.

Finally, we created Head Bullpen Parent positions this season, and several parents stepped in to fill those roles. We appreciate the hard work of Anne Butler, Michelle Mulberry, Lindsey Checker, Shannon Milam, and Julie Schuette helping organize our bullpens each week.

You are all amazing and we couldn’t do it without you :)
